I love this place. My kids love this place. My wife loves this place! Everyone goes home full guaranteed! They have an excellent vegetarian omelette. Pancakes are as big as my head! Kids menu has a wide range of items, the silver dollar pancakes are large and my six year old gets full with the five. Prices are fair. Service is top notch. Restaurant is clean. Bathrooms are really clean, kind of surprised actually. All in all an excellent experience!
We came and decided to order some savory options and several pancake options. The pancakes were huge and tasted great! They’re definitely on the sweeter side, so if you’re a big sweets person, you’ll love these. For more of a savory option, the standard two eggs, home fries, and toast was just ok (scrambled eggs were a bit watery and bland), but the sausage omelette was far better in terms of quality on the egg and meat. Our waiter was also super patient, kind, and always around to help. Overall a great experience and would definitely return!
Pancakes So Big They Deserve Their Own Zip Code! Came to Williamsburg for my son’s AAU basketball tournament… left with a new religion: Pancakes. We stumbled into Astronomical Pancake House hoping to fuel up before game time—what we got was a full-blown breakfast revival! First off, place was spotless. Like, “you-could-eat-off-the-floor-but-don’t-because-you-already-have-a-table” clean. And the service? Southern hospitality meets Chick-fil-A-level kindness. Now let’s talk about the food. I ordered the Hungry Man’s Plate with Georgia Pecan pancakes—because I live life dangerously—and my son went for the Strawberry pancakes. When they brought his plate out, this boy’s eyes jumped out his head like a cartoon. I swear, for a second, I thought he saw Jesus. The pancakes were literally 12 inches wide. I had a serious appetite, but even I had to wave the white flag after one. These things could be flotation devices. NASA might’ve launched the wrong rockets—they should’ve launched these pancakes into orbit. Long story short: clean place, kind staff, and pancakes so big they need a parade permit. We came for basketball but left as lifelong members of the Pancake Fan Club. Astronomical Pancake House—you’ve officially won our hearts, our stomachs, and probably a chunk of our vacation budget.
Exactly what the name says. Giant pancakes. Delicious. Waited 4 years to be back in town and this was our first food stop. Well worth the wait.
Simply amazing. Food was out of this world. Waitress was super helpful with recommendations. Coffee was really good, and our cups never ran empty. Portions were plentiful. I can't wait to return.
Best breakfast in Williamsburg! The service was impeccable! We came with a party of 14, we were greeted with an incredibly friendly manager, and with a big smile we were seated with no issues. The food was delicious, fluffy pancakes, fresh fruit, and amazing waffles! I highly recommend this place! You will not go wrong!
“Believe the hype” is right! The pancakes are astronomical! My son is obsessed with cinnamon rolls and all things cinnamon sugar. So he felt like he was in heaven when his cinnamon swirl pancakes were delivered. Be warned! From a mom’s perspective, it’s aaaaaall sugar! But it’s kind of what you sign up for when you order it. And it does taste amazing! We got through a third of it and packed the rest to go. The biscuits were also amazing. Soft and delicious! We also had a waffle with apple cinnamon which did not disappoint. Overall, it was a great experience!

The name of the restaurant says it all! The pancakes are the size of the plate that they are served on! We were seated quickly, our food was brought to us just as fast and our pancakes were delicious. Our waitress was also very nice and attentive. I'm glad my kids and I finally tried this place, and we'll definitely be back.
